Be mindful of your alcohol consumption


You don’t necessarily have to be a teetotaller to maintain balanced day-night rhythm, even though it is well known that alcohol has some health effects. Moderation is vital in this regard, as well. Nigh-time is the worst time to have any alcohol if you want to avoid the effects on your slumber. If you have a habit of taking a nightcap (a glass of wine or a bottle of beer, for example) in the evening, try having it before or during dinner. It should also be considered if having alcohol is always essential and take into consideration trying alcohol-free options.
